ART THEORIES AND PRACTICES IN NON TRADITIONAL SETTING

Hello Students!
I created this blog for the benefits of my MA ed. students attending the PSV 705 course.
I hope to use this blog as a way to communicate. Please use this blog and post comments or publish post on anything we can share regarding the course. Please use the blog wisely.

We will be meeting again this Saturday at 9.00 AM. I believe all the students have already selected an article for the assignment. Please bring your article so that we can discuss further regarding your writing.

    Salam,
    Thank you for all responses. I hope this blog will be very helpful to all of us. Use it wisely and effectively.

    Presentation should be this Saturday. You don't have to submit your writing first but just present your ideas and criticism. Submission of the written assignment will be on the 22nd of October.

    seems like dr had already 're-fix' the blog page... for yr info dr, i am very new to this 'blogging thing'...and i believe most of us are too.... heheheheh... so, if we make a mess to this page, we are very sorry... will try to be a fast learner.... so bob, learn from the others on how to put your info into the gadget.... huhuhuhuh....

    Eton, I know, however we have to learn fast. I only familiarized myself with blogging few months ago. We need to learn fast because the this is the nature of education today. Those kids in school are learning fast, we have to cope with them in order to be relevant. Keep on trying, inserting and experimenting, after all the blog is very user-friendly.

    Please confirm our lecture room this week. Ask with Prof Shukor if the mini studio is available. I feel the mini studio is much more condusive for our teaching & learning style.

    as salam dr...
    we have our own room at the studio... we have one room for our final project... n for teaching n learning purposes, we had already clean the textile room on our own... so, there should be no problem about the availability of the class... but, there might be a slight problem about the presentation... everybody seems not sure about what to present...everybody seems to be asking questions to each other....

    salam dr rashidi...regarding our next class...im a bit confuse..wat we suppose to do? an article review? do we submit? presentation? erm im sorry on tat day i were going out early bcause of school event....if we present on tis saturday...do we need to do in powerpoint? so could you pleaz explain....nur adilah

Saya juga mencadangkan agar kami semua berdiskusi dgn Dr mengenai article review ini di sana...masing-masing bawak article yang ada, pasal kami semua macam tak tau lagi nak buat apa.     Wow Good,
    Now I begin to feel the MA air around me!
    First, Bob. This week I have to be in Shah Alam for some other business. So I will be giving lecture there. Set another date for the Ulu Bendol trip.

    Adilah & Eton, don't worry. This is only the first stage of you assignment. I want every student to be very clear with the requirements. You should have already selected an article to review. Comprehend, analyze or even list the important points. Present the important points this Saturday and most importantly, what do you thing about the content of the article. Comment and criticize. You don't have to submit anything yet. Powerpoint if you feel its a necessity to assist you presenting. Start writing when you have a very clear of what to write. I hope this explains what you require to present this Saturday.

    The writing or article should be related to art. This assignment is to see how writers review art works, their style of writing, their readers or their aspects of writing. Your task is to analyze their writings and crit.
    Art, above, may not necessarily works of art. It can be art techniques, exhibition, ideas, role of art, and as such.
